Clean Water Information - Stormwater
The Village of Chestnut Ridge is a member of the Rockland County Stormwater Consortium, working with other municipalities and the County to keep our waterways clear of pollutants. The village is has several important waterways within its borders, including the Pascack Brook and the Pine Brook.
With the help of Rockland Americorps, Chestnut Ridge has mapped and marked our stormwater catch basins. The Village has also enacted laws against illicit discharges into the stormwater sytem as well as flood prevention measures.
